I have all of these! Never been seen by a mental health specialist for this…
I hate it when it rains because that makes the surroundings you know really messy and I hate it whenever I have to go to work when it rains. I cry every time when it happens. Yesterday, my own brother pointed it out that how I hate to touch people and because I am someone who thinks low of people because I hate when people have dirt in their hands and I hate to eat food made my them. The image of dirt running in my mind comes again and again and I try replace it with something else. I hate the space right under the kitchen cabinets, my small bathroom, and the rented apartment where I live currently no one in my family is aware of mental health issues as neither they are educated enough nor understanding and they won't understand anything but use it against me when my signs of OCD are visible. Earlier, an abusive word just used to repeat again and again in my mind which my father and brother called me once. I do not know how to deal with this as I am 17 and I really want to live carefree and not in fear every day about every minor thing turning major in my mind.
Iv''e had it back in winter of 2019-2020 Sertraline helped me clear it up
Just accept dp or be confident ❤
My ADHD You lose track of days, weeks, months.... Your😮stuff piles up because you can't decide where it would best fit in the room. You're dehydrated because you were into the video game and you didn't drink water. You missed meds... You didn't eat and you're in your pajamas. You feel weepy. People judge you and the intrusive thoughts are personal. You look around and whisper... What have I been doing? And then you rinse and repeat....no sleep. Not eating. no motivation because you're staying freaked out... And the nightmare continues. Hyper vigilant, jumping at each sound. You can feel every beat of your pounding heart as the stupid anxiety comes back with a vengeance and then spirals you into full blown panic attacks. Wave after wave as you think, where has my life gone? The sink full of dishes and you still haven't eaten. You just pile up in your bed and death scroll social media ... Nothing really helps. No one understands how your brain is wired. Most think you're stupid and have said as much. Drawing a deep breath, the tears come like rain. Despair comes to. Shaking you get up to check the front door. Halfway there you remember you wanted to turn the TV on and you forgot to go pee so you almost wet yourself. Going pee has to be now. Sighs... The world looks difficult and gray. You shake off the tears. Exhausted, you lay down on the couch only to have your brain catch on fire with millions of thoughts. Armies and armies that never stop marching through your brain.....
I saw it before you said anything
The thing is compared to most other my trauma is nothing severe, and yet that I've had depersonalization for about 6 years now, it has become a part of my reality and it won't go away, the hardest thing is the lack of empathy which prevents me from connecting to others and the world around me, I always force myself to feel things and sit down trying to figure out what I should do in certain situations despite not having much empathy nor caring for the other person, I'm sick of it.
Thank you! Some family members have it and it helps me understand them better
I’ve been constantly depersonalized and derealized since I was 11. I’m going on year 8 and I’ve gone through multiple therapist who’ve called me crazy and don’t know what to do with me. They’d give me all the same grounding techniques. I thought I truly was going crazy but reading these comments I know I’m not. Thank you for this video.
Will you tell me if i have it? Because idk Anyways here are my symptoms: •zones off and daydream a lot •Moving constantly •Fidgeting •Constantly tapping my foot •Eats a lot even though I’m not hungry and i don’t need to •Forgets Dailey things •Overthinks a lot and can never focas on 1 thing •And REALLY REALLY sensitive
This has been extremely excellent. It's what I'm feeling and trying to relate to my va therapist
🤯🤯🤯 procrastination being like a needle, carrying anxiety to my veins to coke myself up to get movin’. Wow. I’ve not been diagnosed yet but feel I have inattentive type. This lil gem of info jus blew my whole mind. Right on, ty!
I also think can i really live my whole life with these questions what if my hope my parents will be gone can i live without them my life 😢
Its like this for me that why i cannot see through others eyes why cannot i feel their emotions or thoughts are they fake just my imagination or someone caged me with fake people and made stories of god and he/she is like controlling my life or like my life is repeating again and again
Good words , I can relate because your words fit what is going on in my head, going to seek help thank you
I have anxiety and tinnitus i feel it is very hard when the tinnitus come on some days i find it upsetting
Very true! ❤
I have been ill recently with a heart problem and as a result been having anxiety and panic attacks. You think now every little twinge or pain is a heart attack about to happen and this is it. It's very difficult to bring yourself down once it has started and found a lot of people are unfortunately very unsympathetic and it's "oh just do some deep breathing exercises etc...." it's like you lose control of your body.
Ha!! Omg don't you just LOVE when you're literally having a MASSIVE panic attack, you're CLEARLY in distress & someone's just like, "oh...hey man...just stop 🤷♀️ Just stop worryin so much man! If ya just didn't worry so much..." or, "you're gonna be ok....NO, you are not having a heart attack "..... I F'n hear that shit EVERY DAY...FROM MY HUSBAND.!! You'd think by now he'd realize, as well as others that if we COULD just literally snap our fingers & be like..."ok self-just stop" & voila..we'd suddenly be great, we wouldn't have ALREADY DONE THAT YEARS AGO??? 🤦♀️🤦♀️Ugh ...pisses me off sometimes. Alot of people don't understand 💔
I've been crying mostly every night since it started Friday would make it a month.
Million times. No exageration there! Are you a real md?
Me who put down 9 fingers:OH😃
Das me! 👉👈☺️
What is the solution for all
I just got my official diagnosis yesterday, at age 41. I meet both sets of criteria (so combined type, I guess). I'm on Vyvanse, looking forward to improved functioning as I increase towards my optimal dose.
Wow so nice video!! Thx
ive had dpdr for almost 3 years, and its like my vision is just never there, when i get really anxious its actually like im in slow motion, im really afraid to leave my house, and i dont know how to get rid of it, i feel like im gonna faint constantly
Erin do not worry at all. Recovery from dp is 100% possible no matter how long you have had it for or no matter what the intensity is. I have had dp myself and now i look back at those days and laugh. You will recover trust me.
@@raeidhmalik5369 i’ve had it for so long, i’ve forgotten what normal feels like, how did you recover? i’m trying to take anxiety meds to stop my panic but im in such a negative circle
What lifestyle changes, apps, dietary or supplement changes do you recommend?
It started 30 years ago with peeing often. Then joint pain. Then cold in my Stomach. Getting worse and worse. Chest pain. Tired all the time. Now I have abdomen problems, fatty liver and pancreas, henital Hernia, breathing hard... All from stress.
Please vacate my head.
I didn’t know that subtitles can help with auditory processing disorder. I have that thanks for telling me.
Yess! This is how I get all the taxes done and bills paid on time. I just remember from previous times the immense relief at the thought that nothing is late and I don't need to worry about reminder letters. For a super anxious person like myself, this sense of relief is actually a very powerful motivator, akin to the feeling of being pardoned on the death row 😂
I just repeat, ‘ i’m a queen, I am a baddie’ over and over until the task is done
Would be nice to find this video like 7 years ago lol
i know you're not a HSP because a common misconception about HSP is that we cry at stupid commercials that are made to elicit emotions in us, we know better. Maybe we cry the first time but we become so desensitized to those things that we become numb to it.
My family member who has existential OCD, contamination OCD, DPDR, and depression was helped tremendously by IV ketamine therapy.
A family member lived with this for a long time. Ketamine therapy with a psychiatrist helped so much.
loved the video, thanks for sharing it!
Not a mention of the positive effects?
"*identify as women", what kind of doctor are you??
Me constantly telling myself “if you don’t visit your mom at least twice this weeek you are a bad child and she is gonna die and you are gonna regret it.”
Going to report this short because my brain is very clearly in it and I hate it.
Jim: What day is it? Tim: It's Tuesday. Jim: Oh, I thought it was Friday. Huh. **Confused** Tim: Yeah, we all feel that. Jim: **Feeling like he just skipped time from last Friday into today, and trying to be cool about it** Tim: **Working on files, wishing it was Friday**
Yep, we're sensitive to criticism, however when you received alot of criticism as a child it's understandable how we got there!
Well now I have Anxiety Depression ADHD
Listening to this makes want to cry realising just distressing and comsuming the compulsions can be, it's like I want to stop but just can't!! I find I don’t get it as much in public or if I'm busy out doing things but man it really sucks at night 🥲🥲
1 early to things? really?
See for me mine is mixed with adhd and depression and I get heart palpitation and tingly hands and jaw ache and arm pain that goes away after a while but is a fucking nightmare to deal with watching videos like this is good to help me diagnose what the problem is as I went hospital had heart test all was fine in heart and everywhere else so it’s defo anxiety doctor. Told me to live stress free life and live happy life how can you live like that feeling like that
i was diagnosed with adhd years ago by doctors and therapist yet every time i come across one of these videos im always just like, damn.
Has anyone lost weight over this illness?
Thanks so much ma’am for this I really appreciate it
I started doing that a few months ago, and I had no idea why! Then i was diagnosed with ADHD. It all makes sense!
